These Terms of Service govern your use of the Screen UI website, app, downloads, updates, documentation, and related services. By using Screen UI, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Screen UI.

Use of Screen UI

Screen UI is provided for creating, editing, saving, and exporting screen recordings and related media on macOS. You are responsible for the recordings, projects, uploads, exports, and other content you create or share with Screen UI.

You must only record content, people, audio, windows, applications, websites, or devices when you have the rights and permissions required by applicable law, platform rules, workplace policies, and personal consent requirements.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recordings, project files, imported media, transcripts, overlays, and exports you create with Screen UI.

You grant Screen UI only the limited rights needed to operate the app on your device and provide support when you intentionally send materials to us.

Restrictions

You may not use Screen UI to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, bypass access controls, distribute malware, harass others, or record content where recording is prohibited.

You may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or redistribute Screen UI except where applicable law allows it or where Screen UI gives written permission.

Updates and availability

Screen UI may change, add, or remove features, supported formats, supported devices, or platform requirements over time.

The website, downloads, updates, and third-party services may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, provider outages, security issues, or other operational reasons.

Disclaimers and liability

Screen UI is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screen UI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost recordings, lost exports, business interruption, or substitute services.

Changes to these terms

Screen UI may update these terms from time to time. The updated date on this page shows when the terms were last changed.

Your continued use of Screen UI after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
